Description

Loose fit jeans with a straight leg made from a 14.15 oz. dry denim greatness that resembles an old, '50s style, denim. True to history it is constructed of ring-spun warp and weft yarns with irregular thickness, as was often the case back in the day on workwear fabrics. Also true to its heritage is the dark, but not blackish, indigo warp that is dyed in pure indigo.

With wear and wash, the yarns will interact, and you'll reap the rewards that heavier ring-spun denim produces — evident slubs, a pleasing crosshatch as well as a marbling -effect. It's the irregular yarns in both warp and weft that render the crosshatch effect, and the built-in tension formed by the yarns that produce the marble effect after washing. As this denim is dyed in pure indigo, it will age to a clean, blue redcast tone.

The greatest part of these jeans is not what they look like new, but rather the complete opposite - how they will look tomorrow, and the many days to come. Enjoy ageing, it is worth the trouble.

Very, very nice quality material. It was very hard for me to choose between these ones and the dry selvedge. Ended up going with these in the end because they seemed a bit more comfortable - despite being raw denim they felt quite good right away. Very happy with them!

How to return

If you're not happy with the items you received you can return them to us within 14 days (30 days if a member of c/o Nudie Jeans). The items must be unworn in their original condition and with all tags attached. You register your return by visiting www.nudiejeans.com/returns and in our mission to lessen our environmental footprint, we’ve decided to charge a fee for returns. The return fee for your location is 60 SEK.

It's important that you return your product in the same condition you received it. This means labels still attached, and no visible wear marks. Sealed packages with underwear or socks for which the seal has been broken by you can't be returned.

Can I return the goods in a physical store?

Yes, we offer in-store returns and exchanges of orders placed at nudiejeans.com in the following Nudie Jeans Repair Shops in Sweden.
In-store returns are free, you will not be charged the return fee.

What is dry denim?

Dry denim, also referred to as "raw" denim or unwashed denim, refers to a pair of untreated denim, which means they have not been washed or bleached. So instead of creating a worn-in look at the laundry facility you break in these jeans yourself and the outcome will depend on how much you wear them. With time you'll get a personal pair of jeans with whiskers, honeycombs and fading created by your lifestyle.

Below are some tips and tricks to help you with your dry denim journey.

Size and Fit
Dry denim starts stiff but will soften over time, molding to your body. When buying a pair, keep shrinkage in mind. They will shrink when you wash them the first few times, primarily in length but also slightly in width. If you are between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size to allow for this shrinkage and ensure a comfortable fit over time.

Prevent Dry Bleeding
Dry denim’s deep indigo dye often transfers onto other surfaces—this is called “bleeding.” To protect your shoes from unsightly stains you can:

Cuff your jeans: Roll the hem to create a buffer between your denim and your shoes. This is especially helpful for lighter footwear like sneakers or tan leather boots.
Tape: Taping the inside of your jeans is an efficient solution to avoid dry bleeding. Remember to remove tape before washing!

Wear them in
One of the defining features of dry denim is the fade pattern that develops over time. The more you wear them, the better they’ll look and feel. As for washing, there's no right or wrong, some wash them early, some wear them longer before the first wash.
